As a result of the natural population growth and the changes in the economic, industrial, agricultural, and living levels in Algeria, the need for food has increased. This, in turn, has led to an increased demand for agricultural products, prompting farmers to increase the use of chemical fertilizers despite their high cost and negative effects on the soil. In addition to that, the daily activities of Algerian citizens have resulted in the continuous accumulation of large quantities of waste, posing a pressing problem for disposal.
Furthermore, due to a decline in potato yields in the city of Maghnia – Tlemcen – over the past 8 years, amounting to nearly half of the harvest, potatoes are considered to be soil-depleting plants. They require significant amounts of major nutrients, especially potassium.
In light of climate challenges and water scarcity, our institution, FERTL-ORGA, has reconsidered agricultural methods to produce food in a sustainable manner that is environmentally compatible. One of these methods is the production of natural organic fertilizers (compost).
The aim of this product is to obtain high-quality products that contribute to the preservation of natural resources, such as fertile soil and clean water, while maintaining biodiversity and the overall environment.
Features of the FERTL-ORGA product include:
- Enhancing soil fertility and productivity.
- Increasing the soil’s water retention capacity.
- Improving soil quality and increasing its resistance to diseases.
- Containing major and minor nutrients required by the soil and plants.
نتيجة التزايد الطبيعي للسكان وتغير المستوى الاقتصادي الصناعي والزراعي والمعيشي في الجزائر، زادت معه الحاجة الى الطعام والذي بدوره أدى الى زيادة الطلب على المنتوجات الزراعية وهذا ما يدفع بالفلاح الى زيادة استخدام الأسمدة الكيماوية بالرغم من شدة غلائها وانعكاساتها السلبية على التربة، وزد على ذلك لما تخلفه النشاطات اليومية للمواطن الجزائري أدت إلى ظهور وتراكم كميات كبيرة من النفايات بصفة مستمرة مما أصبح التخلص منها من ألّح المشكلات. ونتيجة تراجع محصول (غلّة) البطاطا في مدينة مغنية – تلمسان – في 8 السنوات الأخيرة الى ما يقارب نصف المحصول، اذ تعتبر البطاطا من النباتات المجهدة للتربة. فهي تحتاج الى كميات كبيرة من العناصر الغذائية الكبرى لاسيما البوتاسيوم.
وفي ظل التحديات المناخية وندرة المياه، مؤسستنا FERTL-ORGA أعادت التفكير بخصوص الطرق الزراعية لإنتاج أغذية بأسلوب مستدام يتناسب مع البيئة ومن هذه الطرق هو صناعة اسمدة طبيعية عضوية (الكومبوست).
الهدف من هذا المنتوج هو الحصول على منتجات عالية الجودة ينتج من خلالها حفظ للموارد الطبيعية كالتربة الخصبة والمياه النظيفة مع الحفاظ على التنوع الإحيائي والبيئة بمجملها .
